Today’s post is all about the portraits of 3 awesome kids in Downtown Annapolis. We had such an amazing time exploring, laughing and goofing off with these three. Downtown Annapolis is one of our favorite places in Anne Arundel County to do Family Portraits. There are endless backdrops, historic buildings and (of course) an awesome waterfront.
We started out by visiting the beautiful William Paca House & Gardens and just had so much fun walking the paths, smelling the beautiful flowers and capturing wonderful portraits of this beautiful family. After a few minutes climbing vines and smelling flowers, we headed down to the frog pond to see what we could find. While, there were lots of lily pads…no frogs. On a side note, we did have a little mishap while searching for frogs…Emmy leaned a little too far over the edge and ended up head first into the pond (yikes…). After a minute of shock and a few tears, she was back at it again…grabbing my hand and saying “mr. mike, follow me…I wan’t to show you something”. Kids are so resilient and charismatic, I just love it!
After a quick change of cloths, we headed over to the US Naval Academy to finish off the session. Little Michael was such a ball of energy! He came up with a fun little game called…lets tackle the Photographer! Hey, it made them all laugh so…I was happy !
It is days like this that remind me how lucky I am to be a Family Photographer in Annapolis! I hope you all enjoy the photos and feel free to share if you do!
